The Ethiopian Prime Minister “Abi Ahmed” announced the resumption of negotiations at the level of irrigation ministers between Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan, to discuss technical details related to the “Renaissance Dam” crisis.
This announcement came after a meeting held by “Abi Ahmed” with the Sudanese Prime Minister “Abdullah Hamdouk” through the technique of “video conference”, during which they agreed to return to the negotiating table of “Renaissance Dam” again.
The two parties stressed the importance of the return of the three parties to the negotiating table to complete the remaining small part of the agreements for the filling and operation of the “Renaissance Dam“.
Abi Ahmed also affirmed his country’s readiness to cooperate with Egypt and Sudan to reach a final agreement that takes into account the interests of the three countries and the peoples of the region.
«Mustafa Madbouly», Prime Minister, held last Tuesday, a meeting with the Sudanese Prime Minister, the Foreign and Irrigation Ministers and the heads of the intelligence services in Egypt and Sudan, the meeting dealt with the file of the Renaissance Dam, which Ethiopia continues to establish, in all its aspects.
